Breuninger Celebrates Three Years VFNO
A spectacular fashion show on an exuberant runway, exclusive pop-up stores of attending designers Paula Cademartori and Stiebich & Rieth, an array of unique brand promotions and culinary delicacies in the Sansibar by Breuninger, epitomize this year’s VOGUE Fashion’s Night Out. Once again, lifestyle corporation Breuninger was the official partner of this year’s grand event in Düsseldorf, and offered a multifaceted shopping experience on the 9th of September, 2016, from 5.30 pm until midnight.
Finish Line of the Oldtimer-Rally Classics à la carte
Classics à la carte is a charity event that began in the year 2000, and every year it donates the annual net proceeds of approximately 25.000€ to an institution that medicates and helps children in war zones and crisis areas. This institution was founded by health director, Dr. Adam Kurzeja. Thanks to the support of sponsors such as, Porschezentrum Düsseldorf, Art Invest, and Corporation Breuninger, Kurzeja’s institution was able to offer oldtimer fans the opportunity to present their historic vehicles at the Kö-Bogen.
The Fine Food Festival Goes into the Second Round
Parallel to the NRW Tag in Düsseldorf, the Fine Food Festival proved to be all about culinary delicacies and treats for the second time. The exclusively chosen exhibitors offered their guests fine food at the highest level. Along with Palio Poccino, Sansibar by Breuninger, and Breidenbacher Hof, all of whom were present at last year’s Fine Food Festival, there were three new exhibitors from the gastronomy and hotel industry. This list included Schloss Hugenpoet, Phoenix Restaurant & Bar, and Austern Mannheim.
Successful Premier of the Kö-Bogen Sundowner Lounge
For the first time, the Kö-Bogen invited friends and guests to the summery Sundowner Lounge. Around the Uecker Nagel, the area was transformed into a cozy outdoor lounge with pallet couches, Fatboy-beanbags, and food & beverage stalls. During the warm evening hours, guests enjoyed small snacks, cool drinks, and were able to further relish the moment.
From the 12th to the 14th of August, 2016, the 35th international annual meeting of the regional club Düsseldorf- Mercedes-Benz SL-Club Pagode, took place among other locations at the Kö-Bogen. On Sunday morning, the Düsseldorf public had the opportunity to be amazed by 150 models of the two-seat convertible cars, made between 1963 to 1971. The nickname „Pagode“ was given to this style icon due to the inward curved hardtop that memorializes a Japanese temple.
During the course of the Summertour 2016, Maserati presented its latest automobile models at the Kö-Bogen. Attracted visitors were invited to further connect with the long-established brand in a relaxed atmosphere, and were able to see the new models super up close. Along with the world renowned models Ghibli and Quattroporte, visitors could examine the first SUV in the company’s history, the Levante, and even sign up for a test drive.
La Martina – We are Polo: exclusive aperitif party at Breuninger. About 100 distinguished guests celebrated the great beginning of the Polo Weekend in Düsseldorf with an exclusive launch party. Place of event was the Sansibar by Breuninger right at the Düsseldorfer Kö-Bogen, top-seeded at the Königsallee with a marvelous view onto the Hofgarten. The host Bastian Ammelounx of La Martina escorted professionally through the evening and every guest, as well as the top-class polo players, enjoyed the outstanding evening. After the kick-off tournament in Frankfurt is Düsseldorf the second destination of the German Polo Tour.
Breuninger and the Düsseldorfer EG are again a strong team in 2016. Since 2014, there has been a strong partnership between Breuninger and the Düsseldorfer EG. Breuninger supports the Christoph Metzelder Foundation. Within the framework of the first Breuninger Fashion Show for the CPD in January, the fashion and lifestyle company hosted a charity raffle for the Christoph Metzelder Foundation. After the show featuring inspiring highlights from the collection and prominent guests, the visitors had the opportunity to buy a raffle ticket from well-known donation angels, and thereby become eligible to win attractive prizes such as a Breuninger shopping certificate or a dinner with Christoph Metzelder and doing a good deed at the same time. Thus, a sum of 6,000 Euros in donations was raised on this evening.
Customized linen-bound books for a good cause – Christoph Metzelder accepts donation for social project. In Graf von Faber-Castell’s Düsseldorf store, customers could buy something beautiful and simultaneously support a good cause during the Lifestyle Night at Kö-Bogen in October. Whoever bought a linen-bound book – individually designed by the illustrator Kera Till – from Graf von Faber-Castell, directly supported the Christoph Metzelder Foundation. For every sold book, 25.00 Euros went to a social project which is part of his initiative for children and teenagers in Düsseldorf. A total of 1,000 Euros came together on this evening. The donated money was personally presented to a very happy Christoph Metzelder by store manager Katiba Ordoukhani.
La Martina – We are Polo: Exclusive apéritivo at Breuninger. After the polo kick-off in Munich, the starting gun has recently been fired for the next stage of the German Polo Tour in Düsseldorf. Approximately 180 VIPs from business, fashion, the arts and sports celebrated this grand event together with the lifestyle brand La Martina during an exclusive preview event at Breuninger Düsseldorf at Kö-Bogen.
Thomas Rath christens Giant-Shoe for Kö-Bogen. Fashion entrepreneur Thomas Rath presented his women’s apparel shoe collection during the Global Destination for Shoes & Accessories trade fair. From July 29 to 31, 2015, press representatives and buyers had the opportunity to take a look at the fashion designer’s shoe creations in the STUDIO Premium Area, Hall 9, Stand E34. “Up until now with the entire brand strategy, we have generated very strong and international growth, which we are able to shoulder completely on our own, under our own direction. I am very happy to present the expansion of the collection in an appropriate way on the Düsseldorf platform,” said fashion entrepreneur Thomas Rath.
