Düsseldorf gets a new lifestyle magazine
THE DFD MAGAZINE IS PUBLISHED FOR THE FIRST TIME
An exciting new development for the strategic communication of the important fashion destination is the 36-page “DFD Magazine”, which will be published for the first time on 8 July 2021 and, just in time for Düsseldorf’s new shopping season, will show numerous facets, favourite addresses, personalities and must-sees of the fashion capital, of course including the Kö-Bogen — from gastronomy, to the hip café, to the pretty boutique, to the innovative concept store. Service-oriented, it offers a guideline and inspiration for a stay in Düsseldorf. The magazine has a print run of almost 50,000 copies and is distributed nationally and locally, e.g. on 23 and 24 July from 12 to 6 p.m. in front of the Kö-Bogen!
Background: Under the umbrella brand DFD, the order business in Düsseldorf will launch a comprehensive location initiative on 21 July 2021 and demonstrate strong synergies at the fashion hotspot. This year, the Düsseldorf Fashion Days of trade fairs and showrooms will be accompanied by numerous activities in the city centre: currently 150 brands, retailers, hotels and galleries have registered to celebrate fashion and art together. In addition to networking events, artfully staged shop windows and the first edition of its own DFD magazine, Düsseldorf will show itself as the city that artfully celebrates the triad of fashion, art and shopping in the summer season. In addition to established networking formats such as the DFD Lounge at Karl-Arnold-Platz or the renowned Fashion Business Award, the trade public will also be offered showroom shuttle rides. The e‑brand Polestar is the new DFD shuttle partner and stands for the climate friendliness of the state capital.
