Düs­sel­dorf gets a new life­style magazine

THE DFD MAGAZINE IS PUB­LISHED FOR THE FIRST TIME

An excit­ing new devel­op­ment for the stra­tegic com­mu­nic­a­tion of the import­ant fash­ion des­tin­a­tion is the 36-page “DFD Magazine”, which will be pub­lished for the first time on 8 July 2021 and, just in time for Düsseldorf’s new shop­ping sea­son, will show numer­ous facets, favour­ite addresses, per­son­al­it­ies and must-sees of the fash­ion cap­it­al, of course includ­ing the Kö-Bogen — from gast­ro­nomy, to the hip café, to the pretty boutique, to the innov­at­ive concept store. Ser­vice-ori­ented, it offers a guideline and inspir­a­tion for a stay in Düs­sel­dorf. The magazine has a print run of almost 50,000 cop­ies and is dis­trib­uted nation­ally and loc­ally, e.g. on 23 and 24 July from 12 to 6 p.m. in front of the Kö-Bogen!

Back­ground: Under the umbrella brand DFD, the order busi­ness in Düs­sel­dorf will launch a com­pre­hens­ive loc­a­tion ini­ti­at­ive on 21 July 2021 and demon­strate strong syn­er­gies at the fash­ion hot­spot. This year, the Düs­sel­dorf Fash­ion Days of trade fairs and show­rooms will be accom­pan­ied by numer­ous activ­it­ies in the city centre: cur­rently 150 brands, retail­ers, hotels and gal­ler­ies have registered to cel­eb­rate fash­ion and art togeth­er. In addi­tion to net­work­ing events, art­fully staged shop win­dows and the first edi­tion of its own DFD magazine, Düs­sel­dorf will show itself as the city that art­fully cel­eb­rates the tri­ad of fash­ion, art and shop­ping in the sum­mer sea­son. In addi­tion to estab­lished net­work­ing formats such as the DFD Lounge at Karl-Arnold-Platz or the renowned Fash­ion Busi­ness Award, the trade pub­lic will also be offered show­room shuttle rides. The e‑brand Pole­star is the new DFD shuttle part­ner and stands for the cli­mate friend­li­ness of the state capital.
