Kö-Bogen kicks off the 2025 open-air season
Summer vibes at Kö-Bogen: Where Düsseldorf celebrates life
It’s that moment when the last rays of sunshine dance on the glass façades, the music slowly rises, and small food stands start offering their delicious treats just in time for the evening. Right here, in the heart of Düsseldorf, summer begins – at Kö-Bogen. May opens the door to a new season full of joy and vitality: with the very first notes of a tango or the vibrant rhythm of a salsa, you can feel that this is more than just an event. “Tango at Kö-Bogen” and “Salsa at Kö-Bogen” turn Monday and Thursday evenings into celebrations of passion, lightness, and spontaneous encounters. Together with Tanzhaus NRW, people dance, laugh, and live in the moment. Dance experience? Not needed. Here, it’s all about the here and now.
At “Kö-Bogen meets Little Tokyo,” Takumi – Düsseldorf’s cult favorite for Japanese cuisine – takes visitors on a culinary journey to the Far East. Alongside authentic specialties and refreshing drinks, the ensemble WAGAKU MIYABI provides traditional sounds straight from Japan, while a DJ completes the experience with contemporary beats.
As the days grow longer and the city bathes in a golden glow, we look forward to “Sunset & Networking by Kö-Bogen.” Lounge chairs, cool drinks, chilled beats, and lively conversations set the scene for the perfect after-work gathering – relaxed, stylish, and open to new encounters. Maybe it’s an old friend you meet again. Maybe it’s a new project born at sunset. Anything is possible here.
The Lovebird Festival with the Joy Bogat Trio promises magical moments filled with soul, R&B, and pop – performed live under the open sky. And when local musicians transform the plaza around the “Uecker Nail” artwork into an open-air stage at “Kö-Bogen – Live on Stage” in late August, the summer at Kö-Bogen will end on a high note of pure energy and emotion.
When engines start to purr on June 28, it becomes clear: Kö-Bogen is not just about music – it’s also about timeless beauty. At “Kö-Bogen loves Classic Cars,” design, nostalgia, and true craftsmanship come together as gleaming chrome classics from the 1950s to 1970s roll past the Landskrone, bringing the elegance of a bygone era back to life.
And in between? Simply take a moment to pause during one of the exclusive architecture tours and let your gaze wander across the famous Libeskind buildings – with stories full of vision, courage, and the vibrant spirit of the city.
We’re looking forward to a summer at Kö-Bogen – full of joy, encounters, and unforgettable moments.
