A Year of Encounters at Kö-Bogen

Posted by Alex Iwan · 6 January 2026

In 2025, Kö-Bogen once again proved to be a vibrant meeting place in the heart of Düsseldorf. With a diverse program featuring culture, music, dance, culinary highlights and architecture, the urban space became a place for exchange, movement and shared experiences.

As early as spring, the popular dance evenings in cooperation with Tanzhaus NRW invited visitors to enjoy the end of the day outdoors. Whether tango or salsa, with free introductory sessions followed by dance nights, the area around the "Uecker-Nagel" artwork regularly transformed into an open dance floor for all generations.

The open-air season officially began with "Kö-Bogen meets Little Tokyo." Visitors embarked on a culinary and cultural journey to Japan. Authentic specialties, traditional sounds and modern DJ beats created a unique atmosphere in the heart of the city.

The after-work series "Sunset & Networking by Kö-Bogen" also offered space for relaxed encounters. Leaning back in deck chairs, enjoying street food, refreshing drinks and summery beats, guests came together to wind down after work – a format that once again proved highly popular.

Musical highlights included the Lovebird Festival featuring Joy Bogat, as well as additional live formats at the "Uecker-Nagel" artwork, turning Kö-Bogen into an open-air stage. The program was complemented by architectural tours, offering fascinating insights into the origin and design of this distinctive urban space.

Another visual highlight was "Kö-Bogen loves Classic Cars," where selected vehicles from several decades were impressively presented between Königsallee, Hofgarten and the Libeskind buildings.

All of these events shaped 2025: open, diverse and free of charge for everyone. They further strengthened Kö-Bogen as a place of encounter, culture and urban life.

We would like to thank all visitors, partners and contributors who brought this year to life – and we look forward to many more shared moments.
