Together with two experienced experts, discover the feathered residents in the heart of Düsseldorf. The inspiring walk around Kö-Bogen and through Hofgarten offers insights into the local bird world, personal stories from the experts and small nature moments in an urban setting.
The walks are also suited for children and leave plenty of room for questions and discoveries along the way. A calm hour and a half in one of the city's most vibrant corners.
The dates coincide with Sunset & Networking Saturdays — if you like, head straight to the Uecker Nagel afterwards for a lounger and a drink.
„An hour and a half in Hofgarten and around Kö-Bogen — bird life in the heart of the city.“
In the middle of the city and yet close to nature: the Bird Walk leads from Kö-Bogen into the adjacent Hofgarten, one of the oldest public parks in Germany.
With binoculars and expert guidance, participants discover the feathered residents among old trees, ponds and meadows. The roughly 1.5-hour walk is suitable for adults and children and shows just how much biodiversity is hidden right next to Königsallee. Participation is free, but registration is required as the group size is limited. It is a calm, instructive contrast to the urban bustle and a special summer experience for the whole family.
