Kö-Bogen loves Classic Cars
A Shining Showcase of Automotive Legends at the Kö-Bogen
Gleaming chrome, elegant design, and the unmistakable sound of classic engines: On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the Kö-Bogen once again transformed into a paradise for automobile enthusiasts. Under the motto “Kö-Bogen loves Classic Cars,” the popular classic car parade took place for the third time in the heart of Düsseldorf – stylishly staged along the Landskrone, nestled between Königsallee, the Libeskind buildings, and the Hofgarten.
Around 30 lovingly maintained classic cars from the 1950s to the 1980s delighted visitors of all ages. Among the highlights were automotive icons such as a Ferrari Testarossa, a rare Lotus Elan S2 (1965), a sophisticated Bentley S2, a Jaguar XJ‑S Cabriolet, and the impressive Lagonda M45 T7 Open Tourer – vehicles that captivated not only with their looks but also with their rich histories.
Famous guests added an extra touch of glamour to the event: Celebrity chef and classic car enthusiast Horst Lichter attended with his son Christopher Lichter, strolling through the rows of automotive treasures, chatting with fans, and taking time to enjoy this special event at the Kö-Bogen. Like many other collectors, he also brought his own classic car, making it available for visitors to admire – a true highlight for all those who know him not just from television, but also as a passionate lover of historic automobiles.
The event was once again organized by the experienced Movendi team led by Bernhard Kerkloh, in cooperation with the Kö-Bogen. On a beautiful summer day, visitors enjoyed refreshing drinks and delicious snacks at Eduard’s Bar by Breuninger, while collectors and enthusiasts exchanged ideas about technology, design, and the fascinating stories behind the cars.
Once again, it became clear: The fascination with classic cars is timeless – and around the Kö-Bogen in Düsseldorf, it has truly found a special home.
We’re already looking forward to the next edition of “Kö-Bogen loves Classic Cars”!
